problem wit photoshop cs2

im havin a problem wit cs2 when i wanna make a sig and i make a new document and i try to brush it and itt brushes so light that u cant hardly see it and when i put it on clouds furst and u brush nothing shows up and its not tha brushes cause ma homeboy got tha same brushes from tha same site and i get dem frorm thea all tha time and it works 4 him and me and i dont have it on overlay or nuffin hear's a screenshot it took like 100 brushes to get it like dis.

and im not a newbie at sigs i jus upgraded from cs 2 cs2 so i do know ma ps jus dont know what 2 do in this sich
