    Default Smudge Tutorial Request

    Hi guys!
I dont know if Im in the right section but Ill post it anyway.

I need a big favor. I need a Smudge Tutorial for newbies. That would be
    really great.

Things I would like to see :

    • What is the Smudge Technic?
    • What are we looking for when we are doing that technic? (the final result..)
    • How to do it, when do not have a wacom or whatever you using? (with your keyboard and your mouse)

So that would really help me cuz now im lost when im trying :P

thx in advance hope to see some good tutorials about it!!

that's because there are tons of ways how to smudge.

tons of different results as well!! there isn't a tag that i make that hasn't smudge in it....
only sometimes i use it to soften (blur) or make a flow... sometimes to smooth things, and sometimes i use it as the main effect.

an example of smudge as a blur/smoothing effect:

and here some examples of smudge being the main effect:

the next one only has smudge as an effect...
i finished it with some photocolor filters...

mostly i use smudge without scatter, but if treated carefully some sattering can give beautifull results.... it just depends to what you want to obtain....

if you want to know how i do my smudging, just pm me....
