Bleach
I'm sick of this, no matter what I cannot get past novice, I'm lucky if I ever get to high novice. I'm stuck on solid novice like this sig. Such a total piss off.

Worst part is, IDK how to even improve.

Depth, lighting and blending.
These all help each other and are based of each other.
I suggest working with an easier render that has a better defined lightsource to play with.
Adjustment layers can also be your best friend when it comes to blending such as gradient maps, exposure, levels, curves etc.
Burn and dodge can also help with the above.
To me right now, it might be my screen but some parts of the render are very pixely, which can totally destroy the overall tag.
You are off to a good start here, just needs a few more tiny adjustments and you will be fine.
Like the above said, .psd's and tutorials can also really help out with these situations and you can also learn new things.
Wish you best of luck and can't wait to see what improvement you WILL make.
