Hand of Life and Death

I a few new things for this one, including actually taking a photo of my hand to use as a stock and making my own water effect. This one is meant to be shown on a forum with a black background, so I added one for viewing's sake.

The water effect is a bit off, water wouldn't drip down in a straight line like that. The edges of the water are too sharp water does have a sharp edge to it at all.

What is that hes holding? Looks a little funky o.O Death be choking the chicken.
I like how you used a gradient map and then had the hand out, but I think there could be way more added to it, without any clutter aswell.
