Thread: Favorite Fonts?

  1. #1

    Default Favorite Fonts?

Hello Gfx Void, I see a lot of people are just crazy good at doing texts... I myself am terrible at finding good fonts that are versatile and look professional. If anyone has some nice free fonts they like to use a lot that are easy to work with, I would love to see them.

Please don't say search www."font site here" because I don't know what to search for, just leave the name of font . Thanks in advance.

I do not have a favorite font.

However, nothing can ever go wrong with San serif fonts a majority of the time. Though, if you want your tag to be more expressive, you should incorporate a font (fancy font) that suits the overall theme of the tag. You could incorporate the font in a series of different ways. However, I prefer it when its either used on the first letter or the entire main/ focal text.
The size, color and texture also plays a role in this. However, it depends on the placement of the text as well as the size of the tag.

    This.
Personally, Fat Fonts usually work out in some situations.
The concept and meaning behind the piece itself will help you choose the font.
If it has a knight and a kingdom, why not choose a medieval, stuff like that is good knowledge to know.
I really do like this question though.

Yeah, I know for themed tags like comic or what have you, I can find the spider man fonts or whatever it may be. I just have problems when the tag has no general theme to apply a text to.

    I like this one better.

He's looking for good fonts, he's not saying just post your favorite font here. He's basically trying to get help with text.
