For a first try it's very nice imo. (Really liking the flames on it, again. :P)
Although your normal works are better. :P

Not feeling this one bro, sorry :/ I just think it has a very messy vibe to it. It has a multiple focal which is very hard to work with. I still think you should keep trying these though. I know you'll be able to come up with a sick style.

It's a great first try, but the blending could use a bit of work, I would also have edited the planet a bit to make it look like something is hitting it to make it look more real and to help with the blending.

Well I like the idea and some of the colours, but I feel it needs some extra steps esp with the planet, most planets have a cast of glow around them, even the moon. I also feel the clouds needa little more depth to them as well, that could be fixed with making some clouds smaller then the majority and putting some burn or darker blue into the pockets of cloud, between them to give off that feeling that some clouds are closer then some.
There is cloud behind the c4d, I feel that it should either be removed or more put in, atm it almost looks like a mistake?

One more idea about the planet, thought about putting a layer of bevel(contour) on it ? or was this a resource moon ? In any case, take a texture brush and with similar colours as the moon brush some on, then put on some bevel to it, esp around the rim of the planet so you can actually see that it's not a solid circle, but actually has mountains and dips an shizz.

Does any of this make sense ?? Good stuff trying something new mio

I really like the concept Mio. The only thing that it needs to FX extension and blending.

It should blend a bit more because it feels kinda just there .
I think you should extend your FX a bit more near the moon to bring out the concept of it.

    Kiu !
