Children of Honduras
I took this May of this year in Honduras...

A very cool and interesting subject. Some of the most emotive photography i've ever seen has been of children in poverty stricken countries. Aesthetically, I do have a few pointers. Firstly, the depth of field is a bit shallow, if you look you can see where the boy is at the back is slightly out of focus, and he is just as much the subject as the other child. I suggest using a slightly smaller aperture to increase your depth of field (thats a higher number F stop just incase you dont know). Also, just being a bit picky now, but in portrait photos, as a rule, you dont want anything to obscure your view of the subject, no matter how small. If you notice the washing line, it cuts slightly over the head of one of the children. Perhaps positioning the camera bit lower down could have avoided this.
Personally I would have liked to see this photo with the focal length a bit shorter (ie. more zoomed out) to show how isolated and alone the children actually are... im sure it'll help portray a more emotive image.
I know at the time there may have been circumstances that you didn't think of or you couldn't help, but its all things to consider for next time to make that perfect shot.
Nevertheless, the subject is great. Really like the thought behind this photo, im sure its something many people wouldn't even consider

I saw these boys across the street. I wanted to be careful that they didn't notice me because I knew that would change the dynamic of the photo. I think especially where we were... people want to hide their poverty even the smallest of children!
I like the way you put that... that they are both equally important and therefore should both be in focus... see how beautiful is that! How humanitarian! I will play with the apeture... our new camera has this really cool preview button too... so that you can get a feel for your depth of field and see it! My husband is teaching me all these new things
thanks for your help!

^ What Rexy said. Got some small things that could be corrected, but a nice photo! Love these kinds of photos
