Chaoscope

I've done some fractals in chaoscope and are also planning to create a brushpack. But, in photoshop when I have done CTRL+A and then tries to Select Inverse, I get the msg "No pixels were selected" I got one layer, and thats the layer with the fractal. This is kind of annoying.. :huh:

It works like that with anything in photoshop, when you press CTRL + A, you select everything so when you inverse the selection, you select nothing. If you are trying to get the fractal on its own then you're best using the magic wand tool and selecting thje background, then delete the background. You will probably have to defringe the fractal after you have done that to get rid of the rough edge. Either that or see if you can export as .PNG in chaoscope.

It came to my mind that I should use CTRL+I, to Invert Colors that is, and not Invert Selection. Heh. So I got it now

invert selection is CTRL+SHIFT+I

To select the area of an object on one layer hold CTRL and click on that layer.
