Used to use PS but never really tried to learn how to make sigs, always just used c4d's and couldnt be bothered to follow tutorials.

So im back and this time trying to learn starting with the basics.

1st lesson for me is flow so heres my 1st sig

sometimes i hate the void!!

I think the focal should stand out more... it is kind of hidden in the tag....
overall your tag has a plain color/contrast/brightness....
not the easiest focal to start with....

next time choose a focal that really stands out and has a nice flow within itself...
that will make it easier for you to work with......

for a good tag it needs: lightning, flow, contrast/balance, colorscheme, interesting effects, depth etc..... so......

still me thinx u did a good job on the flow and the direction!! cause the focal fits in good!!

for a first this is verry impressive!! keep m coming!!

there are thousands of tutorials on the internet, and here on this site....
just go to the tut section or google depth tutorial....

lol not the easiest way of blurring...
I normally do apply image - then gaussian blur - then erase the parts that i want to keep sharp..........
or use the blur tool if you want little pieces blurred.......
or if you want to be more artistic use the smudge tool..........
as you see there are many ways to do it........

also what works for depth is lightning.......
if there 'shines' a l;ight on your focal and the surroundings are dark(er) then that adds depth as well....

i would try lightning up your focal , and agree with xelo on the depth . the colors is your main problem here on the darkness, and could use a light source you don't have one here . other thing i noticed is u text u have nice placement but bad choice of font try a bunch out . you might also want to just mess around with different gradients u can make some or u can download some from da . gl kid
