I like the effects going around him. I think you have to work on the lighting cause it just seems to be on the render. Add more onto the background maybe?

i like the first one more ;] the colours and it has really nice depth.
effects are good, just i would add a bit more, like u added at 2nd verse, but with keeping the colours.
