Steppin' on smudge
Went a little crazy with the smudge tool, but i like them

Your smudge lacks details and your colors have no clear look to them (bright or cool) no matter where they are on the tag. Which is bad. I'd work on your execution as well, and over all effects. These are pretty empty, your smudge has little to no detail. your execution is off for the effects you did try to add, your composition is iffy, contrast is a bit too high. ect

work on colors and compo effects are bringing lq and your smudge is not strong enogh IMO duplicating the layer of the smudge will help.

I would have to agree with what has already been said, you hae a unique quality with your smudge work, and I say keep at it, it can onlyget better, your colours and contrasts are a bit crazy and need to have more flow or control to them and their needs to be more detail involved, perhaps some textures or some diff kinda smudge brushes because it looks like you used liquid and a smudge setting of only one brush, soft round. Try to pull in some more time into spicing up sparts with my detail and bringing the eye view to it.
keep it up, looks like this could be some wonderful abstract in the making ^^
