well as said this is a bit boring, i think its because you didnt have the guy pop out from your fractals at all, try using the soft eraser a bit and make a better focal, also there is no flow because there isnt enough effects, try some more lightings effects, or try pen tool, or something...this is a wip, you should keep working on this, the fractals are nice and are placed nice to make a possible light source

its really monotone , kinda like the blending but the lighting needs work , kiu

Bring out the focal a bit more and try some C4D's for better composition. Everything looks like it's composed of a nebula/space stock right now so it's a bit boring.

I'd add some stronger lighting too since everything is a bit weak.
