Need help badly
Hello guys, just wanted to see if I can get some help.
Okay, this is pissing me off.
I can't smudge, and when I find a nice tut, boom, something goes wrong.
I have the SAME brush, same settings, yet my smudge a) Doesnt work on 100% Power
d) Works extremelly powerfully on lower opacity, wtf?
c) Isn't looking like the tutorial at ALL, just looks like a bad motion blur
d) I used a different brush, smudged, sharpened and I got somewhere close, but nothing near the quality or the good flow of the tutorial
e) Oh and, at 100% Power it only works to the left, then its really powerful like a extremelly powerful motion blur, but only to the left
What am I doing wrong? :|

Bump, sorry, just really needa figure this out ASAP.

It's not always going to look like the tutorial all the time.

Nono, it looks umm. Sec I'll post a example.
The soft, even though not what I want smudge is 50% strenght. The rest is 100% strenght. And the one in the black square, thats 100% trying to smudge upwards. WAY off, and its IMPOSSIBLE to get smudge like that out of this.

If so check tablet settings.

Not quite sure what that means.
I got help from a friend, he told me to spam press the mouse button while smudging slowly, it worked (that was the problem). Here's what I got:

Thanks for helping (or trying) guys ;D (and girls)

Having to spam the mouse while smudging isn't right, you shouldn't have to do that. o.O
-
As in, small, quick strokes :P Watcha think about the outcome?
-
The smudging is bland and is all going in one direction so it's pretty boring. There is more to smudging then just diagonal strokes. Also sharpen the smudge a bit.
