There are some really cool effects/manipulations (I think - depends on the original image) in this small piece. However some look copy-pasted - not enough variation.

For me, the major criticism would be that there's no real theme or feel. Even though the title is surrealism I get more of a fantasy feel. The hands, pink mountains and visible planet don't fit in, they stick out and give the piece less focus. Although they are cool additions, they would fit better in other settings.

As an example, I would instead add a kraken. You could work in the whirlpool effect and it would fit in with the fantasy feel.

The quality is good though - just work on structure!
