Hey guys,

I've been working on this, started yesterday and I'm almost finished.
The finish line is visible, but I would like some suggestions or comments to make this finish line a successful one.

I compiled this some-what vectorish abstract piece on my laptop with Adobe Photoshop 7. It looks a lot more cleaner on it and brighter, too. So some details might've been overlooked

I realized some mishaps also when looking over this image on my PC that some of the stuff I have on it aren't intentional (overlapping, etc).

This is a WIP (Work In Progress), and I have 2 versions; one of them with some paint, or whatever you'd like to call it, coming out of its palm, the other without it - looks a little cleaner.

    Well, here it is:

    PALM WITH PAINT

    PALM

Thanks to BFG and Twan for motivating me in trying to finish this. A lot of the works I started are sitting on the laptop, and for the most part I have no intentions on finishing them, at least, not for a long time...

Thanks for viewing these, C&C would be highly appreciated.
    I'd like more suggestions though

Love the background. I think I prefer the palm with paint..keep up the good work on it.

looks amazing! I prefer the one without the paint, personally. The _only_ critique I have...and that's rare that I only have one, is that the bottom most bar on the arrow trail is a distinct gradient while the rest of them are solid. I think it would look better as a solid, or at least more solid color.

I'm really impressed with this. Excellent, excellent work.

Thanks I'll try to serve quality material (or at least 'quality' leveling off on something to that of this piece) material consistently.

Oooh, thanks for the critique; I realized that seemingly misplaced shape as I uploaded and screened it with my PC. As for the gradiance, my eyes simply flew over that (without intentions) - the reason why I had it liked that was because the other strips I put were all the same color (white), I changed part of the strips color to give it a more 'realistic' sense of depth, only to forget the other pieces of the strip which you have willfully reminded me of. I will redefine this piece to match your standards, as I agree wholly to what you've mentioned. Thankyou!

Okay, so it's 2-1 now: Paint Vs. No Paint.
    I appreciate your comment! B)

So, it's a tie now: 2-2. Egads! I might as well refurbish both with said suggestions/critiques. Thanks for the comment HeadShot, I hope to improve my GFX skills =). I'm thinking about being a fashion designer, car designer, or a web designer. They all sound like an enjoyable career to me (well, web designing would be more of a secondary job to roll in some extra $$&#036. People tell me that I should consider being an architect, but it seems so boring to me x.x ... anywayz. Yeah, kinda got off-topic there. Sorry!

^_^ Thank you for the comment, I may very well finish the others, but I dunno... boredom and impatience gets the best of me.

I prefer the one without the paint splatter. It leaves you to wonder what could be held in the palm. Atleast that's the first thing I thought. By the way, as a personal note, whatever you decide to do in the design world, I'm sure you'll do great. Already you have such fabulous work and you can only get better.

That's just too good to be true. I'm stunned.

I love the background, all the details and shapes, looking great.
I think that the Palm with Paint has a more abstract look than the more clean version, without the paint. I can't find anything wrong with this and I can't understand why you didn't want to finish it at first, lol It's a great piece, as usual, keep it up!
