The Countdown has begun!

According to the Mayan Calander we have One year left till the end of the world as we know it.

On December 21st 2012 the Mayan Calander ends and people think it means the end of the world is predicted to happen, what that means idk,

What do you guys and gals think about all that? Do you even know anything about this, or is this news to you?

Would you change anything in your current life if you knew you only had a year left to live?

Do you think the Mayan's don't know shit about shit and it's all fake, and I will live forever?

What do you think could cause the end the world if it were going to happen?
a Comet hitting Earth? sudden magnetic pole shift causing giant Tsunamis, Enormous Volcanic eruptions?
Massive solar flares hitting Earth causing global EMP's? Extinction Level Events? Global Nuclear Holocaust?

With how things have been progressing over the last few years with the Earth in general, things have been getting worse, and much larger in scale than ever before, record breaking earthquakes, tsunamis, volcano eruptions, heatwaves, droughts, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, snowstorms, hailstorms. all around the world.
It does not look good, but maybe nothin will happen and it's all just another y2k type of hysterria that gets out of control until it passes and nothing happens.

I think it's total bullshit myself. But hey, if it is true and it does happen, we won't be around to worry about it will we, so really, who gives a shit either way? Maybe the planet would get another shot and not be as fucked up as it is now if it does really end.

That's my view on it.

It would be fun to just get wasted and watch a comet hit the earth or something while you are drunk off your ass, it would be pretty epic. I think something will happen, because the Mayans had made alot of accurate predictions in the calender that actually happened, so I do believe that the Mayan's believed something will happen, maybe not neccesarily the end of the world, but maybe something more related to mayan culture and the region around Mexico, but it does not matter if we all die anyway, so I see where you're comin from DM.

if you make a calendar, it has to stop somewhere. probably because the makers died, or were tired of something. it's total bullshit that it would be the end of the world.
