1st DoF is weird.. There is no clear focal, everything is blurred.
2nd DoF is great.. I like the color scheme as well.

Even though they don't have a focal, as moi said, I think they work well as your own particular style.
I mean every great photographer has their own way of doing things and when its different thats what usually gets it noticed - like art in many ways.
I think you should keep up this almost empty/still life concept, totally works imo!

1st photo, soft look and yes does have a focal point near the center of the image.. 2nd photo also has a focal point near the center.. This is an artistic style photo shot.. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.. Those truly into photography and real art will know the difference

The difference between a real photography artist and just someone goofing around with a camera taking random shots.. You got the artistic flare of a true photography artist.. You should definitely pursue this much further
