Default Sigma 70-300mm tele lens test

Today I bought a new lens. A Sigma 70-300mm tele lens. I went outside to take some shots. The weather sucked but oh well...
    Here are some results:

First is the best of them.
Others are a bit grainy which ruins the feel of them especially the third.

I just love photography. I can't see a simple bad shot.

It's all life in one picture, how things work, how imperfect and yet pleasant things are. Quiet and tell a story...I can go on and on but, uh, yeah good pics.

    Thanx alot guys.

    @ Mio
I agree bout the grainy look. I first thought it was about the high ISO. But I was using ISO's like 400 in those pics, so i'm not sure how to avoid this grainy look... :O

Higher ISO value means more grain, because camera is more sensitive for light with higher iso.
    Lower ISO > better quality
I recommend you to read this to fully understand it. http://www.photography-basics.com/2007/02/what-is-iso/

If your camera has an option for ISO 200 (or lower) go for it, the lower the better really. Some images generally come out grainy if it was a fast moving scene or its just very large. Most of the time when I take a pic I'll resize it slightly smaller than RAW to avoid that.

Anyway think yourself lucky xD I have a manual macro lens (ex canon, ie it will only work on manual setting) and I have to put in the aper,F,ISO etc.. all manually - and I can only see the results when the pic is taken =P

    Those all look great =D

They are a bit grainy like others have said, but that can be fixed. I love love love the third! That fat bird is so cute and the brown of his breast works great with the green and brown surroundings.

    Good job!
