I think it looks surreal, the guy on the right scares me in this pic, he's sitting on the fine line between reality and rendered/fake imo.

Is that her arm crossing over under her right arm? I can't make out anything of her other than her face and chest =|

Long time ago i find tut how make it.

It's very easy..

First you must find good colorfull picture
Later go Filter -> Blur -> gaussian blur (somethink about 2,5/4,0)
Later go Edit -> Fade Gaussian Blur (ctrl+shift+f) and change Mode to "Darken"
