Sasuke Chidori Signature Tutorial - Really old one from back in the days 2009-04-06
I just stumbled on my very first tutorial from the start of my tag making, posted at 6th of April 2009 to be exact.
Found it on a Swedish torrent tracker/forum so it has never been shown for foreign eyes before.
Therefore the tutorial is written in Swedish, and I have no PSD to go back and edit, so time to learn a new language peeps.
The English terms I use and the images would be enough for you to get through the tutorial without understanding Swedish.
But if it's still too hard I have an ace up my sleeve, a video capture of the tag making procedure, it's cropped to the tag canvas but it does the job.
VIDEO DOWNLOAD 52,11 MB / 13 MIN
On top of a tasty video I provide you with a resource pack, as always
RESOURCE PACK DOWNLOAD 8,71 MB
Hope it may still be able to help newcomers with their tag making and maybe for some of you that want to create a quick tag too
Be sure to post your outcomes and please ask if there's any part that you don't understand, and I'll help you with it.

Well, it looks like I just got a BIG win for being swedish!
Cool end result but the stripes on the right looks a bit wierd. Almost like they are poping out in front of the rest of the effects.

I didn't really understand the term "depth" back then, so thats why it's all evenly sharp

Someone needs to teach me how to smudge. :\
My favorite work of mine:

As you can see in the tut I used the spatter and leaf brush for smudging here, and in the video you can see how I stroked but you can't see the brush settings.
Check out this tut of mine for some scatter setting which are good for this kind of smudge: http://www.gfxvoid.com/forums/showth...by-Radillac-lt
You can play around with the brush settings to get different kind of smudge effects.
Hope that helps you to get started with smudge
