    Default Photography competition

How many would be interested in participating in a photography competition?
How often would you like it to be? Every week/2 weeks or monthly? (Bear in mind time needed to get shots)

It wouldn't just need to be people with DSLR's I've seen some fantastic shots from phones.

The winner would pick the next competitions theme.

Please don't say you are interested though if you aren't going to participate, I don't want to set this up only to find only two entries every time.

I'd like this to happen also, perhaps weekly like other competitions sounds good to me. I'd take pics with my phone though ....don't got a camera...I do plan on picking one up soon...any one got idea which is a good one for a starter ??? I don't want the really cheap and crappy ones...I want quality photos to be taken with it.

I don't have a camera myself, but I'm all for it if there's enough people who are interested in it.

    Thanks.

With that you could get a great body. However i recommend getting a cheaper body and some extra lenses. I got the Canon 450D Think its called the rebel XSI in US.

Basically you won't need a new body until you hit a professional level of image, or something is holding you back on your current model such as the requirement to shoot ultra high iso.

I'd recommend one of the newer canon's http://www.amazon.com/Canon-T3i-Processor-3-0-Inch-Vari-Angle/dp/B004J3V90Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1332276566&sr=8-1

Since they can do video as well if you need.
