My brother needed someone to photograh an idea of his for a cover of a magazine he is creating for a school project.
The magazine is about nature realted things. He thought about this composition. I thought with him and did some shots and post processing.
This is what we came up with:

Really like the concept but I just get the feel that some more dirt could be added in the back of his cupped hands.

Does the cover have to be realistic?

Nope, the cover doesn't have to be realistic. You could even use some image you like from the internet. But my brother thought it would be much
more creative and just better to make one yourself.

I just imagined some thin roots with dirt on them(you know how they look when you pull a plant straight out of the ground) going outside his palms or out of the dirt. Maybe it will look overdone.

I'd really love to see how the first page turns out when he finishes it.
