Agitator, I actually vectored an asian tiger, but I removed the background colour for use in my signature space. Only problem with it as it is, there is no clear difference between the white "beard" and the rest.

Wow, nice work. You are very patient in doing those gradients in a vector image. I admit that I had a hard time pulling off a similar effect.I am just wondering how you created the effect. did you use an actual image as a guide to the design?
