    Digital Paintings First tablet experience!

Got my Bamboo Create in the mail today and just getting used to it. After about 2 hours of playing around I some how managed to create this after not having painted or even sketch in years. Nothing worthy of applause or spectacular but man does it feel good to be on a tablet!

Probably the best decision I have made in a long time. What tablet are you looking at getting?

Awesome, you use a hard shading technique. definitely better than my first try when I just got a tablet hehe.
I would say just do ALOOOOT of things with it, you'll get used to it in a few hours and after that you can start working on your technique!

have fun with it and gj
also if you have any questions regarding this feel free to ask me.

I was actually looking at the Adesso CybertabletZ8
    http://www.adesso.com/en/component/c...tablet-z8.html

It's a low price, and looks easy to use, but I'm still not sure.

    Any recommendations?
    Thanks Radillac!

This is actually the first time I ever tried adding hard shading in a picture and soon as I started to see the contrast and definition come out though I just went crazy. I have been watching tutorials on youtube, are there any that you recomend elsewhere?

Btw, looked through your work and really like it. Gonna keep a look out for new stuff from you haha.

Well I didnt go with a brand outside of wacom because of reviews online talking about quality, feel of the pen, reliability and the software/bugs. I went with the wacom create because it seems to be in the middle of a novice and intermediate tablet, awesome reviews, decent drawing area, can be made wireless and will be doing that soon, and it has the touch controls. I am a pretty firm believer in you get what you pay for. I also knew I would be doing alot of work with it and for a long time so I got something that should last me years. If I wasnt sure I would like it or just wanted to not spend much then I would have went with an outside brand. In the end its really just a matter of quality for me. I would make sure to do alot of research before buying anything and dont buy something bigger because its said to be "better", buy for your needs.

    Cheers!

anywho, I've never really followed any tutorials. I learned everything myself with some advice here and there.
the only thing I can say is look at other people their art and figure out how they made it like that and how.
the best way to do that ofcourse is by creating art and looking at their art for references.
