Dead space tag (need help)

My first tag, I find it doesn't flow very well and feels a bit empty. I do like the colours in it though. Constructive criticism.
-
The colors do go together well but what it's missing is mainly blending, getting that render more involved in the background. It looks too flat otherwise, try to make everything go together and the flow will be better.
-
Try to prevent having renders at the sides of a tag and more towards the middle, as Razer said I think you should try to get the render more involved with the background and work on the lighting a bit as well and I think it'd look just fine. =)

Look up the rule of thirds and that will give you an idea where to place your renders in future, hope this helped.

Here is what I think. You should place Isaac on the the second "thirds" line. And move the render slightly up and to the left, as it will match the lighting on Isaac. And then use some smudging of a few duplicate layers of your render to fill out some of the space and to help blend it with the background.

Thanks for the tips guys, I'll post back after I mess around with it. More comments are welcome.

rule of thirds is a joke. you should be able to put a render anywhere if it fits.

The rule of thirds is just a guideline, but its still pretty useful when you don't know 100% where you want to place things.
However, I think the biggest problem with this tag IS the placement of the render.

i agree, the render could use a scoot to the left and also, need to fill it tag up with either some c4d, fractals or custom brush work.
i look at this tag and all i see is a stock and render. everybody talks about adding flow but on this i would add motion. this is your first tag so you might not know what i mean. find some c4d that you like and add it, then play with the modes to blend it. then add a motion blur and make it go the same direction as the render or the c4d. this would be a good start. also keep in mind that google and youtube are your best friends. if theres some thing you want to learn how to do just do a search on it.
last but not least, visit the resources section. everything you need to make a good sig is there.
