Hello all,

My name is...unimportant really, but you can refer to me as Andrew, or AD or shit for brains if you feel the need...but I hope you don't (Bonus points to anyone who knows where my screen name comes from). I am a 31 year old male. I am from Maine. Yes...Maine. It is in fact a state in the US, it is not Canada, and it is colder and snowier than reasonable. I live in Portland, which is the only "city" Maine has, and holds about 40 percent of the states total population.

I am an aspiring web developer, and do graphic design more as a hobby than for an income. Though I need to have the ability to create a background, or flashy web button, most of what I do is on the backend and consists of <tags></tags> and syntax etc. I do graphic design because it makes me feel like a total badass when I can make something that is quality and..well...cool.

I'm snarky, sarcastic, and super liberal and openminded. I think there are 9 gazillion ways to live life, and why should I have a say to anyone else how they should achieve a level of happiness that works for them. Meaning: I dont care your color, creed, gender identity, sexual orientation or financial status...I just want you to be cool with you...

I bought the CS6 web-content package, so I own Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, and a couple of other things. I only use Photoshop, Illustrator and LOTS of DreamWeaver though. Indesign bugs the sweet bejesus out of me, and flash is confusing like calculus.

I found out about this site from a tutorial I did on youtube.

So yea...thats me sorta. I look forward to hanging out and learning, sharing and giving and receiving crits. Be well and talk soon. And always, feel free to ask me anything...I am an open book kinda guy.
