More about surrge:
Surge stands for surreal graphic design and combines my love for surrealism and my experiences as an communication designer.
If you take a look at the pictures of Salvador Dali, you ́ll understand the connection, which I described above. He tried to see the world from a different point of view.
Who can really say for sure, that we see the world the way it is?
There are endless questions which we consider to be surreal and to which we can't find any answers. I got the same view on graphic design. It is important to know what you do and why, but it doesn't mean that you have to do it that way.
Much more important it is that you particularly see and use facilities which are based on the project. To create something new out of that what you have acquired. If you are able to think in a surreal way, you can produce something new, which may be misinterpreted in the beginning but approximately makes the observer think about it. This is a very important step in graphic design. The final product shouldn ́t just look good from a graphic point of view and fit to the product, it should "touch and move" the ones who look at it.
If the customers sees something newly formed, he wants to know more about it. People always want to find out about things. I take advantage of it. This is surreal graphic design.
I know its quit a dream i have and i also know that i will do some re designs the next year until i have the perfect feeling which i want to show.
