its supposed to be a 24foot tall turtle for some project of sorts im working on.
still a WIP i guess, i feel i could do alot more with it.
any comments, suggestions?

Well, first of all, real turtles don't have that kind of legs. They can't stand like that. :P Try harder shading and highlighting, instead of so blurry/smooth. You could also try to make the shadow in a darker color. Some shadow under the turtle would also be good.
Keep on working, will be fun to see the end result.

oh i know turtles dont really have legs like that, i used to have a couple, this is just a kind of cartoony 24 foot turtle (hence the retarted face).
i did have a shadow under the turtle, i guess i just blurred it WAY too much.
and ill work on the shading a little, thanks!

And clean the lines up, colored sketches doesn't look good.

i might go for a comic like look for the line work, if you know what that means.

i agree with it being a bit blurry but i love the idea
and im glad u posted it when its not done yet
i think more ppl should post unfinished work
i do

i think posting unfinished work not only gets you more motivated to finish the work, but it helps newer memebers learn, in a way.

Looking good so far, there is a lot of blurry lines there, and rabies is right about legs, turtles sorta swim across land lol, their legs are flat.

His eyes remind me alot of the Iron Giant, it gives him that terrifying all of a sudden big turtle kind of look.
Didn't know if the poor turtle had a family and a storyline or a purpose

Wow I like it! Just one thing maybe you can add; lines on his 'stomach'..
