Yup. A 12:00 suprise for me! My parents came in and searched my harddrive up and down for questionable content. Note, I'm 14 and there first child, this is a new thing for them. I wasn't worried at all. Anyways, I had finished my rounds of bookmarks that I check out daily, How they come to the conclusion that Kontraband is questionable content for a 14 year old boggles my mind. They threatened to take my computer away, and I came back with the likes of the following.

"Ok, If you take my computer out I'll become normal and get friends, go out every weekend, sneak out at night to go to a party, did I mention make friends? The ones that call all the time and constantly want to go somewhere to a concert or something? Is that what you want?"

I've got 2 younger siblings, and they can't afford the latter happening. I'd imagine the day this would happen, and it was just how I imagined. Aquard for them, and puts me in a good situation where I can threaten to change my ways. They can't do anything to me anyways, I make good grades in school.

I dunno, Thought you people might get some giggles.

For those that don't know me, this might be something new but I'm so straightforward I wouldn't have cared to show my parents up and give them my views on sex, drugs, religion, and masterbation. Then they would have flipped and apologized for invading my privacy. Damn I'm good. I guess being the oldest isn't so bad in ways.

My parents dont know shit about computers. They couldnt even get to my files, i have them all password protected, thats even if they knew how to even open a file. I think parents need to just calm down about porn, and all that shit. Its really not that big of a deal.

Im personally happy with my parents. They dont care if i look at porno. They dont care that i drink once in a while, they dont care about my personal life much. They leave me alone for the most part. They know if I had any serious trouble i would talk to them about it. Im glad my parents understand me and dont pull shit like that on me.


My parents and I have a good understanding of eachother. We trust eachother.

Meh, I think there just scared to take action, or afraid that if they don't step in something will happen or it will get out of hand. I'm running away when I get legally and financially able. They have a set age you have to be to move out of your parents residence?

Parents find porn on my computer every single time and now it just annoys my mom. I guess its better than having sex with random women... im sure thats what my Mom thinks.

a friend of mine used to keep playboys and penthouse in his bedroom in open view and his mum knew about it and didn't mind... he was 17 at the time.

I would like to be so open with my kids but they live with their extremly religious mother who is brainwashing them into beleiving that self gratification is the most evil thing in the world.

my parents have never really done a search, looking for something like that. But last year i polluted my laptop with spyware by going to a shotty site, and end the end had to format it. Learnt my lesson... and havent had a virus since i pirated norton internet security.

Metal, I'd love for my parents and I to have a relationship where we can talk about Sex, Drugs, school even. The only thing my parents see about school is grades and recognition. I'm definatly going to be cool with my kids, of course I'll be a geek all my life so I'll be playing Grand Theft Auto 13 with them
