An original Ipod person (retro/vector)

Hey everyone. I decided to actually make something that took me over 2 hours to make. It's a retro/abstract piece of an "Ipod person" as you may see on some commercials.

-I found a random person, and traced them all myself with the pen tool
-I created some of the vector shapes myself and added to brushes
-I created the Ipod+Cord+Headphones from scratch
-I added the hand that is holding the Ipod because it wasn't in the original image
-I edited the text to my liking

I hope you all enjoy this piece because I'm pretty happy with it. I haven't been too creative lately and have only made about 3-4 things in PS in the last month or so.

That is some awesoem stuff, for a moment I thought the Ipod was an actual Ipod image, you had me fooled for a sec. Awesome work on everything bro.

Great job. Pretty nice, but the hand holding the i-pod looks a little strange in some aspects. It looks liek a thumb and two fingers. Anyways, very nice job. I think it is pretty weird though, because the edges of the silhouette adn the circles at the top are weird. Did you do this all in vector? Because it shouldnt be pixelly like that. What did you save it as? What quality, etc?

See, i kinda am leaning towards agreeing with DB on this one, i don't wanna go against twan, but if you think about it, if you traced it then it shouldnt be pixelly around the edges. Can you give us a Screenshot of the paths?

Well, I don't have the paths anymore because I moved the traced picture from one thing to the picture it is saved under. I'm not really sure why it's all pixelly, it could have been because I traced it and originally had it on a seperate background which I forgot to saved in ps and just as a jpeg, and was too lazy to retrace it and used the magic wand tool to select the previous red background which cut some parts of the trace and didn't make it perfect. That's my guess. Yes, there is 2 fingers and a thumb....do the people have to hold an ipod with their whole hand?

Excellent use of color and direction. The work in general is very solid, although there is some slight pixelation along the cord.
