Well, it seems like i'm kinda out of the entire gaming news loop (lol), but I was bored and reading up on some news and guess what - the government got what they wanted.

A hacker exploited a computer version of the game, unlocking the code 'hotcoffee'. Once typed in, and once you pick up a 'girl' (can't really use the word I want to - at work they monitor, lol) it shows the entire scene with full nudity.

And because of this hacker, they marked the game MA18+ and its no longer going to be sold at BestBuy or Circuit City - more in the works. This code was unobtainable without hacking the game - although the scene was coded by the programmers origionally so it gets this ranking.

    How annoying is that...

i heard about it on the weekend, i guess im lucky i got my ps2 copy at christmas. also, if you still want to get the game, there are probably going to be TONS of torrents flying around.

    That's a good question.
I think stores have to pull the content "by-law", but those in Canada pose a question.

I think Gamespot said something about finding the code (Hot Coffee) for the ps2 version in Action Replay.

i think it's just so fucking stupid, parents don't care if you can brutally kill people and do drive-bys but when there is pixel nudity(well could i say sexual content),OMG ban the god damn game it's bad for kids.. and about what Taco said it's possible to unlock without hacking i bit disaree because you have to open it with binary editor.. so it has locked and there is no way to get it unlocked without runnin third-party programs. sure it can be unlocked on ps2 but you have to create the program on pc first and burn it to cd and run on ps2. i think it's kinda sad for Rockstar Games their fame went bit down but i think they learned this time
