i obviously suck with hair...

and also the colors are messed up cuz i did it in photoshop and for some reason the colors always change when you view it outside photoshop.....can someone explain this.....

yea, I think there should probably be a few more levels of color, she looks like she was chiseled out of wood. put soem detail in the clothing, just looks like a black blob

Decent i guess. Make it bigger, and the reason it loses color and quality is because you are saving as .gif NOOO bad bad bad save as JPEG on highest quality!!

jpg images for the win. not bad for your first person. you've got a really good grasp of how to do the hair. i like it, next time though try working on something larger, so you can get more practise with the pen tool.
