A fractal I made a while ago. Took ahelluvatime to render and the computer shut down once while rendering, so I had to re-render it for like 20 hours. :P
Anyways, here is it. It was a while ago I made fractals, so I thought it was fun to make something, and the result is pretty cool IMO. If you look closely, you see that the oval stuff are actually small copies of the render itself.

Any comments?

pretty cool, looks almost like a painting  like a rl painting
ah w/e
did u make it with apophysis or chaoscope? cuz i dont recognize, i have barely used them.

Thanks. It's Apophysis.

i dunno. i dont like it much. but fractials were never my cup of tea really.
actually, try printing it off, and putting it on a frisbee.

Wow, Great job man. It looks really trippy. Wow. Great work!
Simply; you.

Yep thats what a fractal is lol :P
A repeating shape or design....
But it looks sick bro...nice job!

i thought a fractial was a mathimatical equation or some bull like that. but as i said before fractials were never my cup of tea.

a fractal is a geometric object which is rough or irregular on all scales of length, and so which appears to be 'broken up' in a radical way. Some of the best examples can be divided into parts, each of which is similar to the original object. Fractals are said to possess infinite detail, and they may actually have a self-similar structure that occurs at different levels of magnification. In many cases, a fractal can be generated by a repeating pattern, in a typically recursive or iterative process :P

Yups, fractals are made of patterns that are repeated over and over again. On many renders you don't see it, that's why I told you to look at it. :P

it looks cool... but the edges are a bit noisy...
