The only problem I see with it is that it is to close to the original for my tastes and you should have done just a tad more then you did, cus like you said it really doesn't look like you did much but overall it looks ok. All it looks like you did was crop and adjust the contrast and color balance. Then add some text and a tech brush. I know you probably put a lot of effort into but it doesn't show.
