Very cool idea as far as the banner is concerned, though it's not pulled off too well... you should put the text over the grating.
And what is with everybody using the same layout? It's ALWAYS a thin menu on the left, a thin or thiner menu on the right, and content in the middle. Besides, you have your links on the car... why have any more menus at all?
Edit now that you've posted the bottom one: the drop shadow doesn't work, makes the text too blurry. I'm not sure if I like the white text with black border either... it looked good on the car, but not over a flat color.
i love the one above.....because it's on the car and looks nicer :D
