I'm not a big fan of game/anime renders so naturally I didn't use any in this one. The emphasis is all on the background..no flashy text, brushing, etc.

I like everything, but the border looks funny so far away from the edge. Nice brushing! :D
There is a border there..the background there is kinda dark so maybe you couldn't see it? And there's no brushing done in this sig with downloaded brushes. The parts that look like brushing are parts of a C4D render I made.
I think it would've looked better withouth the inner stroke going over the background this time. And maybe if the colours were a tad more vibrant. :)
the only criticism is that the text is easy to lose. Other than that, i think its REALLY kewl, your good with Cinema 4D :D. Keep it up!
