I began Web Design in March 2004 by learning basics in HTML and PHP. I'm now able to code XHTML using my favorite tool SciTE (advanced text editor), make simple scripts in PHP and do my own graphics using Photoshop 7.0 (ealier Fireworks).
Hope to have a great time here :)

Welcome! Nice to meet another web designer :D ! I started in 1995. I know HTML, JavaScript, PHP, XHTML, CSS, Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop 7. Can I see some of the stuff you have done? I havent had a chance to do much since I am pretty young but you can check out my portfolio at http://www.happyplace.webepic.com/eletter/d/. It is not much, but I guess it works for now. See ya around.

Welcome to GFXVoid mate! As Weasel said, I am too happy to meet another developer. I have been developing sites for about three years now. I know no languges (besides HTML), although I have programmers that help me out (my brother, hehe).
I currently have 20~ domains online, you can see my full profile here

Dumb Genius
weasel, you've been into web design for a long time man :)
Here my portofolio: http://www.bhsdesign.com/page.php?id=55
Notice that sometimes I collaborated with some guys for LDU skins as not many people know how to code them. I'll also have to update my folio as I didnt post all the designs yet.
tacoX,
20 sites!?!?!? man that's a lot, how can you manage so many sites
Tom, I read a lot and most important practiced a lot...
I like PHP.net, W3C.org, W3 Schools and for scripts I mainly learnt from premade scripts at HotScripts.com

Isn't it interesting? I have been designing for 10 years and I have hardly any sites to show for it because I'm only 13. And the state of Maine hired me to do sites :P ... dull sites.
