looks like nice render :) but its not bleding with the background,character is to dark and bg is to light and sandy....it should be a blue or black color and more foggy effect it will look way more better liek that :D also u may try placing character to bit down and visible place heheh i tought it was a gun or something when i first see it :P but its still good work there.....i like it

I suggest brushing around the render a unique style to give more exposure =]

The render is very small, did you consider making it a pop out?
