welcome to the void :) ..basically grunge is a style used in pics/sigs ..and brushes are things PS uses to get effects and shapes in your work.there are thousands of different types and shapes of brushes out there to download or even better when you get more experienced you can make your own brushes.

True. I got much better with photoshop here than anywhere else on the net(and some self-experimenting)!
