not bad. the background is what kinda sucks. lol. doesn't look very spacy, making the planet look less like a planet. not bad on the actual planet though

W00t, il like it. except for the bg. I love the way you made some sort of faded rainbow between the light part and the shadow part of the planet. w00t w00t. Haha l0lz0rz. no i really love it. but you have to work at the bg.

because that the way it atually looks ^_^

looks to flat and smooth. change that :) read some good tutorials, alyns and greg martins tutorials are good (search on google)

You put the visible atmosphere on the wrong side. The atmosphere is only visible in the light, so putting it on the dark side is the totally opposite of how it should be. :P Just try to rotate the atmosphere layer.
Try a more calm background instead of trying to put 300 glaxies and 10 nebulas in the same pic. It's good to experiment, it's the only way to learn, but try not to fill everything with shiny stuff like most beginner space artists does.

And learn Alyns tutorial! It can take hours to complete with a good result, but it's a good way to learn how to make good looking planets.
