Basic fire tut

UPDATE! PICS!
(srry, some got saved at 30 quality and some at 100 quality :/)

1. open a new document

2. fill it w/ black

3.make new layer
4.fill it w/ 646464 and put the opacity to 74%

5.add a 50-300mm lens flare wherever u want the flame on ur new layer

6.go into liquify
7.30 brush size, 100, 100
8. just fool around w/ it 'till ur satisfied

9.set the layer to hard light or linear light

10.erase the dots at the top

11.set the opacity to 100%
12. merge layers

I won't use a normal colorlayer. I would do a gradient map. But it is an good and easy tut. Good to follow.

I like the end result but fire isnt just red...
And that is a terribly written tutorial, no offence.
you couldn't be bothered typing with or your. doesnt take a second.
and there are no pictures so personally i wont be using it :(

ya, i did it in like 2 minutes so i might put pics up 2day or tommorrow(or when i have time but it will be soon)

for it being all red, duplicate layer, change the hue/saturation to a nice ornage/yellow colour, pull it down in transform(down, not up, not sideways, down), change the blending mode to color dodge, go to filter-pixelate-fragment and ull have some yellow in it :)
