you need some atmosphere around the flower it'd make a big difference..

It's not much of a realistic stem either if that's what you were going for...

but it's definately good it is a really really nice idea.. :)

Well i was thinkin.... thorns prick u and stuff..... so why not make it barbed wire... so much more hardcore! lol a little emo there. But yunno i think ur right. Mybe add somethin to it. but what?

The rose looks good man, but like deadloader said, it needs some atmosphere around it. You could take a picture of people kissing and put it behind the rose, and lower the opacity or something...just an idea.

i like it, not to realistic though. But beautifull things hurt too. would make the black abit bigger though. it seems so fitted in now.

i like the rose. but as it is now, thats about it.

i think that if you took the original stem, and clone stamped some barbed wire on there, and then made the colors fit, it would look great. a little atmosphere would be good too. it just seems empty and not in a good way. it is a great idea, but there are more ways it could have been better implemented. still a great thought though, would love to see what you come up with if you decide to change things.

i like it, a good piece but i REALLY disaprove of what you did in terms of lettering. The green 1px stroke looks bad and that font is entirely too frilly.

I think the text is just perfect.

That would be a problem... because the picture i cut the rose out from.... had no stem. It was actually a close up picture of the rose. I just cut out alot of the rose pedals... so yea that wouldnt work... but what do you guys think i should do for the atmosphere in the back?

i see what you are saying, its hard to find a pic like that with a stem. but maybe add some texture to it to make it look a little more like a stem even.
