Well, we're wasting 6+ billion dollars in a war we didn't have a great reason to go to, and that's the tip of the iceberg. Officials are being indicted, justification has changed for our presence in the middle east at least twice.
Also, not much is being done to get us out of Iraq, and yet we're PROSECUTING ATHLETES FOR STEROID USE! Jesus christ, what is the world coming to?
Another issue: illegal immigration.
We have a terrible immigration problem, and most people might think more population=good. Not in every case. Most immigrants are fleeing their country for the opportunity presented by the USA, and will work for far less than minimum wage, which is enough to have jobs taken from Americans and given to ILLEGAL PERSONS WHO DO NOT BELONG.
My question is, how fucked up are the priorities right now?
It's a shame my 18th birthday will be 2 weeks after elections in 2008, i was looking forward to putting a vote towards an intellectual in the office for the first time in 8 years.

About the war thing, I agree that it didnt really help anything. But, I dont agree with Bush sending troops in the first place. Can you really expect him to let a country suspected of weapons of mass destruction to get of easy? But, after them , not finding anything, the troops should've been out 3 months ago. So basically the war didnt have any results.
