i am not done yet i just wanna see what you guys think so far.
When I go to sleep I dream/I dream of the who I wanna be/I dream of what I wanna see/ I dream of a dream that’s me/ wake up in a world/ blinded by the lies/the government provides/like the blanket of protection/that’s invisible to my eyes/terror in the streets/children getting beat/drugs on the mind of everyone I meet/how can I take pride in a country run/by little kids with guns/little girls showin ass/to older men that pass/babies having babies/daddies being lazy/raisin up the babies to be crazy/houses that aren’t homes/ten living in a bedroom full of bones/walls are full of holes/ceiling held up by a couple metal poles/the plumbing doesn’t work/paying a thousand dollars a month to live in dirt/school is no longer required/its an option not desired/teachers getting tired/the books are no use/computers failing from the wires coming loose/these children are in need/some cant even read/but the money we bleed/is given so the rich kids can succeed
