There okay.
The first one i think is kinda ugly. u did a very VERY strong ripple effect.
Lessen the ripples. i BET it would make it 10 x better
The second one is okay. The bg is kool but the text is choppy as hell.
1st - 2.5/10
2nd - 4/10
Not too bad. Each could use work obviously but Sobers, common 2.5/10? It's better than that.
1st= 5.8/10
2nd=5/10
Add some borders, make them clearer smoother
Okey, try to make a better background at the first one, not too pixelate.
And something with your text is wrong, but I don't know what :(
And your second one is not really bad, but try to slower the animation, and choose another font.
And it looks good if you make a border for both
