I love the first one, it actually has something going on. The bird, sun and clouds are awesomely done. The second one is alright, but doesn't have much going on. Good job dude.

I myself have never vectored anything. I love the first one and I think you did a great job. I think the second one would do better if it had more color and something going on in the background. Theres my two cents ^_^

The second one sucks IMO. The first one isn't that great either. Just keep messing around and you'll get better. These aren't bad for your first two.
