my only beef with it is the render is too small

Good job, i dont like the red letter and the fact that the bg is filter whored, also IRON MAIDEN TEXT DOESNT GO WITH M.K but thats it, maybe add a new layer with some brushing on top and then it will have more depth. OVerall good job though.

THere is a white 1 pxl border but its under the color balance or the bg layer for some reason.

I think it's to much color with the background effect, if it was brushing I wouldn't mind so much. The first thing I noticed was the no boreder. The render might look a little better if it was a smidge larger. Also the small white text above the colored text just looks out of place. Nice try though.
