Been playing for 7 years almost my 8th at the turn of new years :)
I have a Strat Squire by Fender and a really old electric, it's classic and in mint condition, but I don't know exactly what it is. I don't play it, that's probably why. And a Washburn acoustic.
I've been playing for about 9 years. My equipment list is as follows.
Guitars:
- 96' Fender Squier Stratocaster (black) 50th anniversary of Fender edition. I sanded down and reshaped the body, it still needs to be reassembled
- 03' Fender Stratocaster HSS "Fat Strat" (midnight wine)
- 84' Yamaha FG-400 Acoustic (natural)
- 36' Kalamazoo F-Hole Archtop Jazz-Acoustic (tabacco sunburst)
Amps and Pedals:
- Peavey Transtube Bandit 112 (12" Sheffield Speaker, 80 Watts RMS)
- Fender 15R (6" Speaker, 15 Watts RMS)
- Boss DD-6 Digital Delay Pedal
I play clean (no distortion) with a bit of reverb. I like smooth slow, melodic songs. I'd say my playing style is sort of a mix between Jeff Buckley, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan. I've always been into music, and have played an instrument of some kind since I was 5. I got into guitar because I thought girls would like me for it... Truth.
wow Unit number 43 if you have a mix between those styles i'd love to hear some.. what tuning you normally play in?
Standard tuning. I use a capo alot, mostly capo on 3 or 5. Alot of blues scale.
