Just a basic Actionscript test, at least in this one i typed the code 100% from memory and improvisation, nothing was copied haha..
ok the details.
----
The "Click Somewhere On the Document to Begin" text changes
To "Thank you" after you click somewhere on the screen.
The Rotating/Pulsating box follows your mouse clicks.
After you click the box translates itself, it doesnt just appear there.
----
basic yes but it was all typed from memory which is what i want to learn to do more often.. memorize actionscript like i can with html, and only have to look up new codes.
maybe ill reach that point somtime near the end of the next year, or at least somtime in august or September.. at least i hope i will.
very fun.. i just wasted like 10 minutes of my life clickng a box.. lol
I wish i knew actionscripting. ill give it a try
Good job nxtday

the base of the dynamic text setup was collision detection with the red-blue pulsating box.. simple enough heh ^^ ive been teaching myself actionscript for the past week or so.

thanks all ^^ im really getting into flash lately.. its growing on me almost ^^
-----------
but i was also kind of forced into actionScript.. since my version of flash8(and yes its a legit copy) didnt have anything but expert coding mode(for actionscript) on the disc and the preset codes were limited... i filed a complaint to macromedia.. but they didnt ever get back to me..
