its 3000x2400. and at 300 dpi. so ill prolly get it printed when its finished :P
but...
its done mostly with a 1px soft brush with 1 opacity. has taken so far about 6 hours or so.
ive lately been practicing painting with photoshop alot. im definately improving all the time.
any tips/critique?
sweetsness dude. looking pretty good so far. it's not monotone like the space piece I made. I like the colors. all I can say is work on the stars and have more activity going on within the piece.
I like whatever you want to call the blue,yellow, and orange things but i think your stars need some work.
Very good, i like those 2 nebulas, the different colors and the way they look has a good feel. Good job making them look like actual nebulas, they look like smoke which is pretty cool. Good job.
Please post the finished piece so we can see the l33tness.
there needs to be more stars in it because space is filled with stars. I think the colors need to be more vibrant and visible. So far it looks pretty good, but it needs to be brighter and more colorful. THe colors look a little dull.

the nebulas in my opinion need to be opacitied on there edges with an eraser at about 25% and blended so it looks like their in space, that would improve it a bunch.
more stars are needed and a planet and/or asteroid belt would suit it also :D
More stars... :) And maybe some tiny planets?

resized it abit smaller this time.
i did a little something to it, drew 1 planet, added stars, adjusted the colors a little.
I couldnt think of a name for that so i just named it "space art by dragoneye" :D
Im gonna start a new one today, or tomorrow and try to make that one a bit more dramatic and what not.
I think this is my best piece ever :huh:
